InOrder, the Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM), and ACCESS Health International are jointly conducting a 2-day certificate course on “Understanding Health Insurance for Healthcare Financing”. The course is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad on the 6th and 7th of October 2023.
Healthcare insurance initiatives such as the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (ABPMJAY) in India have proficiently met the healthcare requirements of the underprivileged, providing responsible and effective services. These undertakings alleviate the economic strains resulting from severe health conditions. However, there is a need for a better understanding among healthcare professionals regarding insurance principles, highlighting the need for improved expertise in this area. Recognizing this, This certificate program is designed to aid health insurance professionals with the knowledge of foundational health financing, insurance, policy, practice, and analytical skills.
The course is structured to have 5 modules to provide a well-rounded understanding of health financing and health insurance that will be delivered over the 2-day in-person course.
